This Continuing competence session covers an investigation into The Missed Billions – How the value of unclaimed assets in the UK is at an all-time high and how this money has been missed.

We’ll look at the forthcoming Dormant Asset Scheme Act and its implications, along with scrutiny of the obligations of Executors to find ALL the assets in an estate at the time of administration, the implications of not doing so and what kind of best practice and due diligence should be conducted by your firm when locating assets and administering estates.
