Case Law Update – 5 Cases you may have missed

A look back over the last 6/7 months at cases you may have missed. This aims to look at cases which have gone under the radar – covering topics such as Court Fee Remission (and the importance of applying for the same), Costs Budgets (specifically Budget Discussion Reports and issues if the same is not filed or served), Hourly Rates (and obtaining rates in excess of the same) and Summary Assessment (as a replacement for Detailed Assessment).

This is aimed at any practitioner in the civil litigation or personal injury space. Rather than just providing the facts and outcome of the cases, we will provide practical advice on the impact of the cases. We will also aim to provide advice from a costs perspective and potential pre-emptive action practitioners can undertake in order to avoid potential pitfalls.
