This is a half day event covering Financial Remedy and Private Law Children with Katharine Bundell of 4PB Chambers.
Finances:
Katharine will look at all of the main practice areas: capital, debts, pensions, periodical payments with an update on any new cases in these areas.
She will then cover the specific areas of hidden assets/ non disclosure to include practice points for discovery, valuations of shares’ partnerships and business assets including what to ask an expert and practice points for early case management and then enforcement options for financial remedy final and interim orders.
Private Law Children:
In the second half Katharine will consider private law children. Again, she will look at the recent cases which are making a splash, consider the current trends and practice points for running an effective case and assisting clients.
There will be a deep dive into nesting arrangements, the pros and cons and how to draft them, the new Child Centred Courts which are coming to you soon and content of court and enforcement options in children cases.
Katharine may also give away a few advocacy tips at the end…
There is no public law content in this course but there will be lots of opportunity for interaction and questions and answers throughout.
