This has been a hot topic for a few years now, but it shows no sign of disappearing. Many clients are very concerned and convinced this is part of their family dynamic. Alienating Behaviours can be highly damaging and are emotionally abusive to children. However, we must also be aware that there may be many reasons why children refuse to see a parent and there are links which may be correlative rather than causative.

In this is live lecture session we will consider some of the recent Guidance and tools available in this area. We will look at the law and how it is applied. We will consider how to run these cases, practice points about when to have a fact finding hearing, the tools we use for that, and how the law is applied when this behaviour is found.
