So much has happened in recent months to subtly reshape the ML compliance environment.

A new LSAG Guidance Note published in April 2025, a fresh list of high-risk countries released in June 2025, the renewed AML Data Collection exercise in September 2025, and forthcoming Amendment Regulations due in Spring 2026 all add up to yet another round of modifications to an already overburdened system.

During this live webinar, Trevor Hellawell will guide you through what these developments mean in practice. He will explain the SRA’s heightened expectations on firms – including the need for a full practice-wide risk assessment, thorough CDD and KYC with verification, client and matter risk assessments, and clear rationales for every assessment made. Trevor will also explore the importance of developing an overarching understanding of your clients’ background and finances.

Finally, Trevor will cover the evolving sanctions regime and discuss its impact on legal practices.

This For Legal webinar provides you with an interactive 60-minute session with Trevor Hellawell, who has shared his knowledge of the legal profession for over 25 years.

This session is a must-watch for all staff who have client contact.
