This live webinar will discuss the current position with regard to client funds, and the Accounts Rules more generally, especially in the aftermath of the Axiom Ince and other scandals.

The SRA may have resiled from their suggestion that lawyers be prohibited from operating client accounts (and having to open a third party managed fund instead) but their focus on the offering of banking facilities, residual balances and, in particular, the extent to which firms rely on the earning of interest on client account balances, remains as acute as ever.
