A Court of Protection Update: what to expect

For Legal are hosting a series of exclusive CPD events this year. These half-day masterclasses have been designed to maximise learning whilst spending minimal time away from your desk.

Your ticket price of £69+VAT includes 4 hours of CPD learning at the event, comprehensive notes and additional resources, access to CPD content at forlegal.co.uk, a sandwich lunch upon arrival and a tea & coffee break in the afternoon.

London locations are priced at £79+VAT.

This session will provide a review and update of current issues in Court of Protection Practice, and will focus on good practice and avoiding pitfalls. The content will depend to some extent on developments in the next few months.

After attending the session delegates will be:

  • able to amend office practices appropriately.

About the speaker

We are delighted to have Helen Forster sharing her invaluable expertise.

Helen is the managing director of her law firm, HTF Legal, based in Yorkshire, She is a solicitor and trusts and estates practitioner and has spent over 14 years working in the private client sector. Over the years she has received numerous awards including the category of rising star in England and Wales in the Modern Law Awards in 2016, where she came second. More recently her firm has won “Inheritance Firm of the year Yorkshire” in 2023. Her particular specialisms include tax planning and mental capacity work, and in addition she provides training and seminars around the country on the subject.
