This presentation will go through the various steps leading up to a detailed assessment hearing and will then explain how the hearing itself works to include a raft of helpful tips for both paying parties and receiving parties to obtain their desired outcomes.

It will address the various relevant provisions in CPR 47 and 44 as well as the various court orders going to costs which give rise to a right to detailed assessment and how those orders are applied in the quantification process.
