Disability discrimination can be an extremely complex area of law. As the EAT has stated when assessing disability discrimination claims, the Equality Act “demands an intense focus….on the words of the statute”.

Simon McCrossan of Clerksroom helps participants understand the underlying legal principles from case law and statutory guidance that comprise the ‘word by word’ definition of disability and the various types of claims that might be advanced in different situations.
