This webinar reviews the results of the SRA Diversity Survey 2021. It considers what these results tell us about diversity and inclusion in law firms and the profession in terms of gender, age, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, social mobility and caring responsibilities. It considers the principled and business case reasons why DEI should matter to every law firm and some of the benefits that firms ahead of the curve are already reaping at the expense of those that are lagging behind. It provides ideas about how a firm might start and progress its DEI journey, what to expect along the way and things to avoid doing. It looks at what to consider when assessing how diverse and inclusive a firm is and what can be done to accelerate the pace of change.
